Greetings everyone,
As the year draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to share the latest updates with all of you!
This year has been a fantastic journey, filled with new insights, interviews, friendships, festivals, and exciting developments in the hemp sector, both professionally and personally. From teaming up with Medicanmaps in Barcelona to attending captivating conferences in Brussels and Berlin, I’ve had the pleasure of deep diving more into the dynamic world of cannabis advocacy. One of my highlights was a special interview experience with Rick Simpson in Croatia, and now almost at the end of the year, finally wrapping up the completion of a year-long website project!
In the midst of these positive experiences, the recent weeks have been a bit tumultuous. It has been challenging to stay focused, especially with the distressing events in Gaza unfolding. The reasons behind hunger for power in the mids of this conflict still remain unclear, but it underscores the belief that if countries were empowered to harness their land for sustainable resources like hemp, many unnecessary conflicts over oil and gas could be avoided.
These global conflicts might seem distant, but our interconnectedness is undeniable. Brutal state power and oppression are not confined to one region—they occur in places like Congo, the US, and the Mediterranean. By rallying against powerful corporations and the war lobby profiting from conflict, we have the potential to make a significant impact.
Imagine a world where our food is healthy and locally sourced, free from pesticides. A world where high-quality medicine comes with minimal side effects. A world where our essential needs—clothing, housing, and packaging—are met using regional resources that improve soil quality, provide employment, ensure fair wages, and enrich every being along the value chain. Hemp and Cannabis hold the key to realizing this ideal.
As we wrap up this year, let’s continue to nurture our faith, collaborate more effectively, support one another, and collectively strive for this shared vision. I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of my journey this year—those who crossed paths, shared inspiration, knowledge, laughter, or just a smile.
Despite the challenges and critical moments, both near and far, we are here to grow our potential. We know the seed, and all that’s left is patience, nourishment, and the gathering of more seeds to ensure we have enough to meet whatever challenges lie ahead.
Wishing you all a fantastic New Year! I’m excited to kick off the coming year with a thrilling collaboration with pioneers from the Spanish Cannabis Social Club movement—stay tuned for more details soon 😉
Peace, Lucky and Luke
